Tyrique Stevenson taunts fans during play, then tipped Jayden Daniels Hail Mary to Noah Brown
Bears corner Tyrique Stevenson was exchanging words with Washington receiver Terry McLaurin for much of the game on Sunday. And it turns out, the Commanders had the last laugh. On the final play of the game, before Jayden Daniels was about to unleash his Hail Mary prayer, the Bears corner wasn’t shy about exchanging words with Washington fans. Keep in mind, this was after the ball was snapped on the final play of the game. And Stevenson quickly recovered just in time, to get in position for the Hail Mary.
The only problem was, he was the guy who ended up tipping the pass back to Noah Brown of the Commanders. Brown hauled the catch in, winning the game for Daniels and the Commanders.
Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin hauled in five catches for 125 yards. McLaurin and Stevenson were exchanging words for much of the game, but the Commanders wideout clearly won that battle in the end.
Jayden Daniels finished with over 370 all-purpose yards and a touchdown, while throwing no interceptions. He had eight carries for 52 rushing yards.
