UCLA and Washington are set to do battle in Week 12 in a matchup featuring two of the four teams that joined the Big Ten from the Pac-12 this offseason.

Both teams sit around the middle of the Big Ten Conference rankings heading into the final stretch of regular season action, but that doesn’t mean this game doesn’t have anything on the line. Both programs still have the chance to become bowl-eligible by the end of the season.

Heading into game week, Washington has opened as a 3.5-point favorite over UCLA at home, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The over/under point spread is set at 45.5.

While UCLA has taken the last two games in the series, the last four games have been split at two a piece dating back to 2017. Still, the Bruins have largely dominated the rivalry since the turn of the century with a 12-5 record against the Huskies since 2000. This stretch by UCLA is a major factor as to why they lead the all-time series by an eight-game margin.

However, both programs have gone through some changes since that last matchup. Not only have both programs jumped conferences since then, but both programs are also under new management.

Kalen DeBoer and Chip Kelly were the head coaches during the 2022 matchup. Now, it’ll be Jedd Fisch and DeShaun Foster leading their respective teams onto the field in Week 12.
