USC and Minnesota will get the primetime treatment in Week 6. The game will be under the lights in the Twin Cities, and the odds and early point spread are out for the game.

The Trojans opened as 9.5-point favorites against the Golden Gophers, according to FanDuel. The over-under also opened at 50.5 points.

Minnesota came up just short in Week 5 against Michigan. The Golden Gophers mounted a second-half comeback and appeared to recover the onside kick, trailing 27-24. However, the officials threw a flag and called them offside, giving the Wolverines the victory.

As for USC, the Trojans took on Wisconsin at home and struggled early. The Badgers took a 21-10 lead into halftime, but Lincoln Riley’s group rallied back in a big way. USC strung together 28 unanswered points to eventually come away with the 38-21 victory and rebound from a loss to Michigan in Week 4.

Time: Oct. 5, 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: Big Ten Network, FuboTV (streaming)
Location: Huntington Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minn.

Minnesota is still searching for its first Big Ten win of the year after back-to-back losses to Iowa and Michigan. The Golden Gophers scored 21 points against the Wolverines to make things interesting late, but couldn’t complete the comeback thanks to an offside call on the onside kick. Michigan got the 27-24 victory.

USC’s comeback, however, took place in the third quarter. The Trojans rallied back from their halftime deficit by rattling off 28 unanswered points to take a commanding 38-21 lead in the fourth quarter. Miller Moss had a huge day for USC, throwing for 308 yards and three touchdowns while also adding a rushing score as part of the effort.

Minnesota and USC last played in 2011. That means Week 5 will be their first matchup in 13 years – and they’ll square off as conference foes for the first time in history.
