Victor Wembanyama raises eyebrows with leather pregame fit featuring head mask
Sometimes, there is more to the NBA than just playing basketball. Fashion is a huge part of the game and players love to roll into games with stylish outfits. Some raise a few more eyebrows than others, with the latest example being Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs are currently on the Rodeo Road Trip, with the latest stop being in Toronto to face off against the Raptors. Wembanyama arrived at Scotiabank Arena in an all-black outfit. A leather jacket and black pants were just the beginning, with the San Antonio rookie adding a mask to the wardrobe.
Wembanyama is also holding a Stephen King novel, maybe getting some pregame reading in. In what is the very beginning of Wembanyama’s career, this is definitely already a noteworthy outfit to take note of.
You can check out Wembanyama’s full outfit here.
Someone will certainly have to ask Wembanyama about the outfit following the game assuming he speaks to the media. And moving forward, checking out what he wears into arenas will certainly be a must. San Antonio will return to the Lone Star State on Wednesday, facing off against the Dallas Mavericks.

Victor Wembanyama en route to Rookie of the Year caliber season
Not much has gone well for the Spurs this season. There is a great chance they are once again at the top of the NBA Draft, hoping to add another piece alongside Wembanyama. But after selecting what was thought to be a generational prospect, Wembanyama has certainly delivered thus far.

Entering Monday night, Wembanyama is averaging 20.3 points and 10 rebounds a night. He has 25 career double-doubles already in just 47 career games played. Not too many rookies finish the season saying they averaged a double-double but Wembanyama has the opportunity to get there.
Now, there will be a push for Wembanyama to win NBA Rookie of the Year. He’s fresh off the best month of his career and was named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month. Arguably the best performance of his season thus far came against Atlanta, finishing with 26 points on 12 of 18 shooting while adding 13 rebounds.
Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren is likely Wembanyama’s biggest competition although he is in his second season in the NBA. A foot injury kept him out of the entirety of the 2022-2023 season. The two will sprint to the end, hoping to earn the honor.
