Washington at Penn State odds: Early point spread released, How to Watch

The stage is set for an exciting Big Ten clash in Week 11, with the Washington Huskies traveling to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Ahead of the showdown, FanDuel Sportsbook has released the early point spread for the showdown, and Penn State is favored by 14.5 points at the moment. Additionally, the over/under has been set at 45.5 points for the conference battle.
There isn’t much of a history to go off of for Washington at Penn State. Both programs are pretty new for each other, as they’ve only played three times over the course of college football’s illustrious history. That’ll of course change moving forward, as the Huskies are in the Big Ten now.
Still, the Nittany Lions have never lost to Washington. They won their matchup in 1921, which took place is Seattle, and their subsequent two showdowns in the 1983 Alamo Bowl, and the 2017 Fiesta Bowl. Both games were close, as Penn State won by a combined ten points, but it was still the Nittany Lions coming out on top.

Washington made it to the College Football Playoff and then the 2023 national title game last season, but they’re a far cry from that team at the moment. Meanwhile, Penn State is looking to break through in a similar fashion to last year’s Huskies team. Time will tell if they can, but they’ll have to get past their freshly-minted Big Ten foe in the process.
