The Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions are scheduled to face off in the NFC Divisional Round Saturday and the odds are in!
The Commanders went on the road and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20 with a game-winning field goal as time expired. The Lions were on a bye week after going 15-2 and earning the No. 1 seed this year.
So certainly, the Lions are the favorite in this one, but the Commanders have had one heck of a season.

“I don’t know. I can’t really explain it,” Daniels said of his emotions of winning a playoff game. “Obviously, I’m grateful to have the opportunity. Im happy for, you know, the fan base, the franchise, everything that it’s been through to get to this point. So I’ll just say I’m just grateful and happy for everybody, including myself, too.”

While the Lions rested, the Commanders put on another thriller this weekend. Tied 10-10 at halftime, Daniels led a field goal drive out of the locker room to take a 13-10 lead.
However, Baker Mayfield led a 10-play, 72 yard touchdown drive right after to give the Bucs a 17-13 lead.
Following a turnover on downs, it looked grim for the Commanders. However, Mayfield fumbled and Daniels led the Commanders to a touchdown on the ensuing drive.
He did it again for the game-winning field goal after Tampa tied things up at 20. With that, the Commanders and Lions have a showdown upcoming.
Either the magic continues or arguably the best team in football returns to the NFC Championship.
