WATCH: Brandon Ingram makes insane circus half-court shot at the buzzer
Former Duke star and current New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram pulled off the impossible at the halftime buzzer, knowing down a circus shot from the mid-court logo before the buzzer. Despite trailing on the road against the Denver Nuggets at halftime, the players could not help celebrate the moment and smile.
With 4.8 seconds left on the clock, the one-time All-Star took the inbound pass trailing by eight. Ingram dribbled forward to the half-court line before losing the ball with two defenders on him. He then scrambled to pick the ball up, knowing the clock was running down, and threw a no-look, side-armed shot after doing a 360.
Somehow, Brandon Ingram knocked down the half-court circus shot and cut the deficit to 62-57 heading into the locker room. The 6-foot-8 forward finished the first half with 14 points and made two 3-pointers.

After multiple setbacks kept the third-year player out of the lineup, Zion Williamson and the Pelicans made the mutual decision that a change in location could benefit his rehab process. They subsequently sent him to Portland and waited for improvement before brining him back to the team facilities.
The decision to bring Zion Williamson back to New Orleans comes after a month of controversy and discussion about the future while in another location. As the young franchise cornerstone has put in additional effort to engage with the team in recent weeks via social media and other channels, the Pelicans hope he can provide an additional boost in their effort to make the playoffs through the NBA play-in tournament.
