WATCH: Joe Burrow reveals what his favorite nickname is
From “Joe Brrrr” to “Joe Shiesty” and “Joey Franchise” to “Joe Cool,” Joe Burrow‘s teammates and fans have created some interesting nicknames for the Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback during his standout season.
It’s no secret that Burrow has some swagger – he had it while he was leading LSU to an undefeated and national championship season, and the former No. 1 overall pick still has it – and even more now – as he’s leading the Bengals into the Super Bowl.
While all of Burrow’s nicknames match his swagger, the quarterback would just like to be called “Joe.”
“Oh, man … I don’t know,” Burrow said when asked what his favorite nickname was. “I’ve got a lot of them. Just call me ‘Joe.’ Whatever anyone wants to call me is OK with me.”
No matter what he’s called, Burrow isn’t focused on it. Instead, he has his full attention on Sunday’s Super Bowl 56 matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium in California.

WATCH: Joe Burrow name drops celebrity while discussing ‘surreal’ title moment
Following the Bengals’ AFC championship game win over the Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Joe Burrow was asked how his life has changed from a social perspective due to all the success he’s had this season – and he named dropped a celebrity while answering the question.
“The situation that I’m in socially doesn’t really feel real to me ’cause in my head I’m just the same ole guy,” Burrow said. “One of my idols growing up, Kid Cudi, reached out to me yesterday. You’ve got LeBron [James] tweeting at me or whatever you said it was. … That part is surreal. The football part, not so much. That stuff is crazy.”
Following Burrow’s answer, the reporter followed up with a second question asking the quarterback what his favorite Kid Cudi tracks were.
“So, I listen to “New York City Rage Fest” every game day, right before I go out,” Burrow said. “Man on the Moon” … I mean, I like all of his stuff. I like all of his stuff.”
