WATCH: Former Kentucky star Devin Booker claps back at fan, uses NSFW language

Things have gotten hostile lately between NBA spectators and its fans. Recently, Kevin Durant had a heated exchange with a fan where he cussed them out. Then, Jusef Nurkic recently grabbed a Pacers’ fans cell phone and threw it into the stands. On Wednesday night, Devin Booker decided to put another NBA courtside fan in their place.

The former Kentucky star was bringing the ball up the court during Wednesday night’s Timberwolves-Suns game and then cursed at a Minnesota fan, Jordan Dye.

His conversation with the fan is likely to draw a fine. Durant was fined $25,000 recently for his exchange with a fan, so it’s a pretty safe guess that Booker draws a fine of an equal or similar amount.

On the court, Booker channeled his anger later in the contest and threw down a pretty nasty dunk. He stuffed the stat sheet with 28 points and three rebounds. The former Kentucky star is one of the best players in the league, and he’s played like it for the past few seasons.

This season he has himself in the conversation as one of the frontrunners for the MVP, pumping in 25.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. Those type of stats don’t come easy in the NBA, but he continues to make it look easy night in, night out.

Booker is one of the most complete players in the game

Booker’s scoring stats have been remarkably consistent over the years and it’s easy to see he’ll continue to be a top player in the NBA for a long, long time. As a matter of fact, tonight he joined some elite company. He crossed the 11,000 point mark in his career on Wednesday, becoming the fourth youngest player in NBA history to do so.

All of those players on that list are either already in the Hall of Fame or are going to be in there very shortly once they retire. The future is remarkably bright for Booker and many people just want to see him bring the Suns the one thing that has eluded them the past few years: an NBA Championship.

The Suns currently boast a 59-14 overall record. As last year’s NBA Finals showed, it’s never easy, as the Suns lost to the Bucks 4-2. Can Booker carry the Suns to a crown this year?
