WATCH: Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown connect for three touchdowns in the first half vs Steelers
When it rains, it pours. Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown have given the Eagles a first half to remember.
The Alabama–Ole Miss connection struck three times for Philadelphia in the first half against the Steelers Sunday. The two former SEC standouts have connected five times for 113 yards with under four minutes remaining in the first half.
After the play, Brown pointed to the Steelers defensive backs that he snagged the touchdown over, which was deemed unsportsmanlike (or hilarious, you decide) and the Eagles were penalized on the ensuing kickoff.

With a lot of football remaining, Hurts and Brown have many more opportunities to stuff the stat sheet after their stellar first half. Catch the rest of the game live on CBS or NFL+.
Chase Claypool throws touchdown pass on fourth & goal trick play
The Eagles thought they had a fourth down stop on their own goal line against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Chase Claypool was able to find fullback Derek Watt in the end zone for six.

Claypool came in motion, took the handoff and bounced outside the tackle. It looked as if Claypool had the option to run it in himself, or hit Watt in the end zone if he couldn’t make the play himself. The touchdown would tie the game.

The pass is good for the first in Claypool’s career. The Steelers wide receiver also had one reception for eight yards in the first quarter.
Since the Claypool touchdown pass, it’s been all Philadelphia. The Eagles have outscored Pittsburgh 14-3 in the second quarter and are in the drivers seat at halftime as they look to remain the NFL’s lone undefeated team this season.
