Joe Mixon films Uzomah touchdown celebration on fan phone
Taking a commanding 27-0 lead in the fourth quarter, the Bengals were feeling great after a 95-yard touchdown drive that ended with C.J. Uzomah catching a two-yard pass from quarterback Joe Burrow for the score. Uzomah found a pocket of Bengals fans front row of the Detroit Lions stadium and went to celebrate, accidentally hammering one fan’s phone out of his hand in his excitement.
Teammate Joe Mixon was quick to pick up the phone and turned the camera on himself, filming his own celebration before giving the fan his phone back with a video to remember. The fan quickly shared the special moment with the caption “JOE MIXON GRABBED MY PHONE.”
The Bengals would beat the Lions 34-11 as the winless Lions continue to search for a way to turn around their rough start, while the Bengals improved to 4-2 with the win.
Uzomah, the Auburn Tigers product, finished his day with just three catches for 15 yards with a touchdown. Uzomah now has three touchdowns on the season, tying his career high already from 2018.

Joe Burrow’s hospital visit
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went to the hospital after the loss to the Green Bay Packers last week, according to the Bengals. Burrow was taken to the hospital for a throat contusion, which may have occurred when he took a big hit from Packers safety Darnell Savage in the second quarter.
Burrow was later released from the hospital and cleared for practice in full, with his hospital trip being more of a precaution.
After the game, the quarterback had trouble speaking, so he did not participate in media availability. Joe Burrow’s totals through six games are 1,540 yards passing, 14 touchdowns and six interceptions.
