As the Odell Beckham Jr. saga rages on, the Green Bay Packers have emerged as the team the star wide receiver wants to play for. Today on Keyshawn, JWill and Max, Keyshawn Johnson weighed in on the potential of Beckham to the Packers.

For a bevy of reasons, Johnson believes the Packers are the best fit for Beckham.

“The best fit — get your money, playing time, a chance to win the championship, play with a good quarterback — is probably Green Bay,” said Johnson. “They’ve desperately been trying to develop a bonafide No. 2 opposite of Davante Adams. He’ll continue to be the main target. Then, you got Randall Cobb who’s the slot guy. Allen Lazard, who can play in or out.

“I like Green Bay for him, to be honest with you. I think he’ll fit in that locker room, he’ll fit with those players. There won’t be any animosity, there won’t be issue.”

It’s hard to argue with Johnson, as the Packers look like the perfect fit for Beckham. However, several teams are courting the star receiver, and he’s taking his time in making his decision.

It took Keyshawn Johnson time to find his fit in the NFL, but he was wildly successful once he did. As he searches for his next team, Odell Beckham Jr. will hope to find similar success.

According to NFL Analysis Network‘s Evan Massey, the Packers front office isn’t exactly rolling out the red carpet for Beckham.

“Per source, at this point in time, Odell Beckham Jr. still would prefer to sign with the #Packers. However, Green Bay’s front office has not been as aggressive as others,” tweeted Massey. “They do have interest though. If they come through with competitive offer, Beckham will likely sign with GB.”

Evidently, the Packers have a leg-up in the sweepstakes. Still, teams like the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots are making pushes. Additionally, the Seahawks and Russell Wilson want Beckham in Seattle.

As Odell Beckham Jr. mulls over his options, the world awaits his decision. Whether it’s the Packers or another squad, it remains to be seen if Beckham can become a difference-maker once again.
