WATCH: Peyton Manning reacts to 'butt pick' interception catch
San Francisco 49ers cornerback K’Waun Williams made an incredible “butt pick” catch for an interception that was taken away by a penalty. The play was flagged for pass interference, but the camera still caught the athletic play where Williams tipped the pass and tracked it all the way to the ground, pinning the football against his rear.
K’Waun Williams “butt pick” catch
Unusual plays and conversations are a constant source of entertainment during the Manning brothers’ ManningCast on Monday Night Football. To the delight of retired quarterbacks Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Philip Rivers, Williams’ interception catch was even more unusual on a viewing of the replay.
They initially thought the ball was pinned against Williams’ hamstring for the catch, but the replay showed him clearly pin the ball against his own rear on the way to the ground. As Peyton danced around deciding what word to use to describe the part of the body used, his brother Eli stepped in by calling it his “gluteus maximus.”
Unfortunately for Williams, the interception did not stand as he was called for pass interference before the play. The interception would have been his first of the season, in a season where he’s been used in alternating games for most of the 49ers’ year.
Despite being dubbed with the same body part as the infamous “butt fumble” by Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, Williams’ play will certainly be a better memory for him.
Draymond Green trash-talking Peyton Manning
Earlier during the Mannings’ alternate Monday Night Football broadcast, Draymond Green was encouraged to trash talk Peyton Manning by his brother Eli. Draymond didn’t take long to come up with an insult that stung the Hall of Fame quarterback, by reminding him that the Indianapolis Colts cut him from the team.
Knowing that Green had a reputation as a skilled trash talker, Eli asked their guest what kind of trash talk he would give to Peyton if he was trying to get into his head. Without much of a delay, Green attacked Peyton on one of the sadder moments of his career.

“As great as you’re supposed to be, the Colts cut you.”
The moment Green was referring to was after the Colts had selected Andrew Luck in the NFL draft following a string of surgeries Manning needed to have. Colts owner Jim Irsay made the difficult decision to cut their star quarterback as they transitioned into the next era of Colts football.
As Eli began to laugh at another person taking shots at his brother, Peyton nodded his head and acknowledged the insult stung him more than anything else he’d heard that night.
After the trio of champions laughed about the moment, Peyton made sure to reference Eli’s “cute” golf swing as the broadcast mocked him earlier in the evening.
Green then took the chance to tell Peyton how much respect he had for him and that he was thankful that Peyton’s final pass of his career went to a fellow Michigan State player. Bennie Fowler caught the final pass thrown of Manning’s career in Super Bowl 50, a two-point conversion.
