Will Levis took the football world by storm over the last two years with his play and odd eating habits. However, the former Kentucky quarterback turned Tennessee Titan has now parlayed that into a major endorsement deal.

It was announced this morning that Hellman’s has signed Levis to a contract that will supply him with a lifetime supply of mayonnaise after the quarterback’s mayonnaise in coffee stunt that has caught the attention of, and grossed out, many people. That deal makes him the first athlete to ever represent Hellmann’s and Unilever.

“Hellmann’s Mayonnaise is announcing an unprecedented deal with star athlete and mayonnaise enthusiast Will Levis,” Hellman’s wrote. “The quarterback captured the hearts — and shock — of fans when he showed his unapologetic love for mayonnaise by putting it into his coffee. Hellmann’s is recognizing the pro-athlete’s immense talent and profound love for our creamy spread with an unparalleled contract: a lifetime supply of mayonnaise.”

“I’ll admit I did not expect my mayonnaise and coffee combination to go viral and then be the news of the draft. But I’m glad it did because it brought this partnership to life,” said Levis. “Hellmann’s is a staple ingredient for me. Whether it’s game day dishes or mixing it in my coffee? Having their mayonnaise in my fridge for a lifetime is a dream come true.”

Levis was the No. 33 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after four seasons at Penn State and Kentucky.

While his play was good enough to reach the next level, it’s Levis’ reputation with strange food decisions that threw him in the national spotlight in a whole new way. It started with eating bananas with the peel on them. He then doubled down on the publicity by mixing mayo right into his coffee cup.

There might be few brand deals more fitting than this one in the NFL. The question now is, with a lifetime of supply of Hellman’s at his disposal, how much of it is going to go into Levis’ coffee alone over his professional career?

Vrabel explains what Will Levis needs to do to earn backup quarterback job

The Tennessee Titans aren’t in need of a starting quarterback in 2023, with Ryan Tannehill set to fill that role. But they do need a quality backup quarterback and that’s where second-round draft pick Will Levis comes in.

Levis is competing with second-year quarterback Malik Willis.

Both split reps during the team’s first preseason game, which saw mixed results for both quarterbacks. Levis finished 9-of-14 for 85 yards with an interception.

Head coach Mike Vrabel explained what Levis needs to work on if he wants to earn the backup quarterback job.

“Just letting the game come to him. Just take what’s there,” Vrabel said per TennesseeTitans.com. “Trying to make sure we are not overdoing it. We are just playing one role, a large role as the quarterback in the offense. Taking what they give you. And when there’s opportunities to work the ball down the field? Do that. He did some nice things, and (he) would like to have some things back.”
