After finishing conference play on a four-game win streak, South Carolina will square off against Wofford at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Gamecocks will host the Terriers inside Williams-Brice Stadium.

Oddsmakers expect South Carolina to give its fans plenty to smile about. According to FanDuel, the Gamecocks are 42.5-point favorites against Wofford. Additionally, the over/under for the game is set at 49.5 points.

History supports the oddsmakers’ expectations. South Carolina and Wofford have met five times since 2001, with the Gamecocks winning all five games. Most recently, South Carolina dominated the Terriers 31-10 in 2017.

With the way South Carolina has been playing lately, it’d be a surprise if it didn’t comfortably win again this weekend. On Saturday, the Gamecocks defeated No. 23 Missouri 34-30.

It was a grind-it-out win for the Gamecocks, who boasted a 21-6 lead at halftime before nearly allowing the Tigers to steal the victory. In the win, South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers completed 21-of-his-30 passes for a career-high 353 yards and five touchdowns while only throwing one interception.

Sellers’ throwing arm wasn’t his only threat. He also picked up 45 yards in the ground game. Not to be outdone, Gamecocks running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders tallied a team-high 53 rushing yards on 19 carries.

South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer couldn’t be prouder of his team.

“Credit to our team. I think that’s the best SEC record we’ve had here since 2017,” Beamer said. “I think that’s the first time since 2012 that we’ve won four straight SEC games. We talk about remembering November and they’re putting together one heck of a story.”
