Unsurprisingly, the South Carolina Gamecocks are still the favorites to win the Women’s NCAA Tournament this season. The Gamecocks have been dominant, but that doesn’t mean that they’re infallible, and there are plenty of talented teams behind them that are capable of knocking them off. Beyond that, there are individual superstars throughout women’s college basketball that are capable of dominating any individual game.

So, here is a look at the current Women’s NCAA Tournament odds and betting lines for all the Sweet 16 teams to win the National Championship, according to FanDuel.

It has been a phenomenal season for South Carolina, with the Gamecocks still being unbeaten going into the Sweet 16. No matter what happens next, it’s been a season worth remembering for South Carolina. However, the team would certainly like to finish this season by winning the Women’s NCAA Tournament and the National Championship.

Next up for South Carolina is a tough test against the Indiana Hoosiers, who spent the majority of the season toward the top of the Big Ten standings. The Gamecocks are going to be favored in that game. However, it is going to be a tough test.

Iowa +750

The Iowa Hawkeyes have, throughout the season, been led by the incredibly talented Caitlin Clark. Despite getting a tough game in their most recent Women’s NCAA Tournament game against West Virginia, Iowa was able to come out on top, largely thanks to Clark’s 32-point performance.

Next up, Iowa is playing Colorado. The Hawkeyes’ ability to win that game and every other moving forward is going to come down to Clark and what she’s capable of doing for the team. To this point in her career, there’s almost nothing she can’t do.

LSU +950

The LSU Tigers are the defending National Champions and, while South Carolina garnered more headlines in the SEC this season, the Tigers are more than capable of making a deep run in the Women’s NCAA Tournament. On top of that, LSU has its own stars in Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson, and Hailey Van Lith who can take over a game.

The Tigers do have a very tough Sweet 16 matchup to contend with, taking on the UCLA Bruins. That’s a reality in their very difficult bracket. After all, the winner of the LSU-UCLA game will play either Iowa or Colorado. However, those tests could help a team later in the tournament too.

UConn +1200

At times, the UConn Huskies have gone under the radar this season. However, UConn is still an incredibly talented and well-coached team that has a good shot to win the National Championship. The Huskies also have their own superstar in Paige Bueckers, who is clearly one of the best players in the country. Now, in the Sweet 16, it’s easy to see UConn continue its Women’s NCAA Tournament run.

UConn is confident coming off a win over Syracuse. However, things don’t get easier from here as the tournament marches on. Next up, the Huskies are going to be tested against a talented Duke Blue Devils team.

Stanford +1600

The Stanford Cardinal have been one of the best teams in the country all season long, winning the Pac-12 during the regular season. Even though Stanford didn’t win its conference tournament, the team’s entire body of work earned it a two-seed in the Women’s NCAA Tournament, and, to this point, the Cardinal have lived up to it after surviving an upset bid against Iowa State.

That game against Iowa State went to overtime and nearly ended Stanford’s season early. Still, the Cardinal have some of the best odds of any team to win the National Championship. However, their path won’t be easy, with a talented NC State team coming up next in the Sweet 16.

Texas +2100

The Texas Longhorns have now won six games in a row during an excellent run in March. That stretch of games includes winning the Big 12 Conference Tournament and now their first two games of the Women’s NCAA Tournament. Most recently, that was a win over the Alabama Crimson Tide where Madison Booker and Aaliyah Moore both scored 21 points for the Longhorns.

Now, Texas feels confident that it can continue its deep run in March and potentially win the National Championship this season. Standing in the Longhorns’ way is the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Texas will be favored in that game and still has some of the best odds to win it all.

USC +2100

Juju Watkins, USC

The USC Trojans have one of the game’s next stars on their team in freshman Juju Watkins. This season, she’s averaged 26.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. There are very few players capable of doing that and she can take over games. That includes in the last round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament when she had a double-double in the win over Kansas.

Beyond Watkins, USC has an incredibly talented team that is more than capable of beating anyone they play. Next up, that means playing the Baylor Lady Bears, a team that’s very capable in its own right. However, USC is still going into that game as the favorite.

UCLA +2700

The UCLA Bruins still have some of the best odds to win the National Championship. However, their run in the Women’s NCAA Tournament was nearly cut short in their last game, when the Bruins went into the fourth quarter tied with Creighton. Still, UCLA survived on the back of an excellent defensive effort late in the game.

Now, UCLA marches on to the Sweet 16. There, the Bruins are set to take on the LSU Tigers in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games in this round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament. It’s going to be a tough game, but both of these teams are capable of winning and moving on in the tournament.
