Xfinity Series United Rentals 300 qualifying delayed, limited to a single round
The rain came in this morning and started to cause trouble. Now, NASCAR has shifted qualifying for the United Rentals 300. Xfinity Series qualifying will now be at 1:30 PM if no more rain falls and will be limited to a single round.
So, there will not be a top-10 to advance to a second round. It will be done single laps, every car gets their shot, and then the grid is set for the United Rentals 300.

If qualifying is canceled due to the rain, Daniel Dye, Natalie Decker, Caesar Bacarella, Joey Gase, David Starr, and Stanton Barrett are the DNQs. They do not have owner points to get them into the big show without a qualifying lap.
NASCAR is waiting to explode on the scene fresh off the heels of the Netflix deal. It’s Daytona! But the rain is going to try and keep the hype down. The United Rentals 300 will try to race later tonight. If we can just get qualifying. Cup Series practice was canceled for the Daytona 500 as well.
This is a developing story…
