Zach Bryan, Shane Gillis teaming up for show inside Notre Dame Stadium in Week 2 of college football season

Notre Dame has a bye week during Week 2 of the college football season, but Fighting Irish fans in the South Bend area can still have an awesome Saturday on Sept. 6, as Zach Bryan and Shane Gillis are teaming up for a show at Notre Dame Stadium.
Per Tyler Horka of BlueandGold.com, the country music star and the Fighting Irish super fan and comedy icon will be performing at the stadium this fall. Additionally, Irish singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy will join them. It should be a doozy of a show, as Notre Dame takes the week off after playing the Miami Hurricanes in Week 1.
“We’re excited to continue to bring world-class events to the South Bend-Elkhart region. Zach Bryan’s debut at Notre Dame with Shane Gillis and Dermot Kennedy will be another fun and memorable night for the University and the community,” said Mike Seamon, vice president for University Operations, Events and Safety at Notre Dame, via a press release.
Over the past few years, Bryan and Gillis have seen their fame ascend. The country music star has become one of the bigger musical artists in the nation, and Gillis is more visible than ever, after hosting Saturday Night Live once again this past weekend.
The schedule worked out perfectly for Notre Dame fans, as they’ll be able to enjoy the show, shall they wish to make the trip to South Bend. Then, they can prepare for the team’s home opener the following weekend against Texas A&M, a rematch of last season’s showdown with the Aggies in College Station.

After making it to the national title game last season, the hype is rising for Marcus Freeman’s team in 2025, and they’re hoping to keep the good times rolling. Time will tell if they’re able to, but a fascinating road seems to be ahead for the Fighting Irish.
As for Bryan, he’ll also be playing a show at The University of Michigan, as their athletic department announced a “first-of-its-kind concert” at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 27 earlier this offseason.
Joining Bryan will be John Mayer, Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen and Joshua Slone. It was a groundbreaking announcement, as it’ll represent the first concert at Michigan Stadium, home of the Wolverines, and the largest stadium in the United States.
As you can tell, it’s a good time to be Zach Bryan. He’ll certainly represent a popular ticket come this September, with shows at the home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Michigan Wolverines.
