WATCH: Zion Williamson sends in a double clutch dunk against the Toronto Raptors
New Orleans Pelicans superstar Zion Williamson has been one of the most electrifying dunkers in basketball dating back to his legendary high school days at Spartanburg Day School (Spartanburg, South Carolina). The electrifying superstar put on a show yet again on Wednesday night against the Toronto Raptors, when he turned the corner to burn two defenders, then he went double-clutch in mid-air for a pretty nasty dunk.
The world already knew the former Duke Blue Devils’ star is a human highlight reel waiting to happen, but he continues to prove it every time the cameras are on. He stuffed the stat sheet with 33 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and two blocks on Wednesday night. The spectacular performance propelled the Pelicans to a 126-108 win over the Raptors.
This season, Williamson has averaged 22.5 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game, and 4.0 assists per game, showing that when he’s healthy, he’s still one of the most complete players in the game. Coming into the 2022-2023 NBA campaign, there were plenty of doubts as to whether or not Williamson could manage his weight properly and stay healthy. He continues to look like he’s in excellent shape and his play has been spectacular thus far during the 2022 season.
