Few football programs have been recruiting at the level Georgia has over the past half-decade, as the Bulldogs have claimed the No. 1 class multiple times since 2019. And if they don’t have the top-ranked class, they’re not far behind.

In fact, since 2016 UGA has never finished outside the top 3 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. And the 2026 cycle is expected to be more of the same. Despite a slower than normal start in terms of sheer commitments, the Bulldogs have been on fire in June and now hold the nation’s No. 2 class after jumping Notre Dame. That came after two major additions Friday and Saturday, with four-stars James Johnson and Chace Calicut joining the fold.

Unsurprisingly, they are — and will continue to be — involved with some of the nation’s best in 2026. Last month, they also landed arguably the biggest priority in the class for them: Nashville Christian (Tenn.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Jared Curtis. He was one of five commitments in the month of May.

As a junior, Curtis completed over 70 percent of his passes for 2,830 yards and 40 touchdowns to just three interceptions. He added another 637 yards rushing and 18 more scores. He is the highest-rated passer to commit to UGA since Matthew Stafford in 2006, a player who Georgia fans would love to see Curtis emulate in his career.

With their quarterback and centerpiece of the class, Georgia has 25 total pledges. Ten project to play on the offensive side of the ball at the next level, while 13 more are expected to be part of UGA’s elite defensive system. Two of the latest are top punter and kicker prospects.

Of the 25 commits, 14 hail from the Peach State: WR Craig Dandridge, safety Jordan Smith, WR Ryan Mosley, offensive linemen Zykie Helton, Graham Houston and Zachary Lewis, running back Jae Lamar WR Brady Marchese, EDGEs Khamari Brooks and Corey Howard, safety Kealan Jones, punter Wade Register, and defensive linemen Seven Cloud and Carter Luckie.

And 19 of the 25 rank as blue-chip prospects, one of the highest rates in the country.
