As commitment season remains in full swing, a majority of the blue-chip offensive line prospects in the 2026 cycle are already off the board.

Fifty-nine of the 66 four and five-star OL recruits in the cycle are committed, as of July 9. Those commitments have dispersed among 34 Power Four programs.

Some schools have already managed to put together elite hauls in the trenches. Fourteen programs currently have commitments from multiple blue-chippers at the offensive tackle and interior O-lineman positions.

Below is a look at some of the top OL classes across the nation thus far:

Clemson

4-star IOL Leo Delaney (No. 130 NATL., No. 5 IOL)
4-star IOL Carter Scruggs (No. 154 NATL., No. 10 IOL)
4-star IOL Chancellor Barclay (No. 164 NATL., No. 11 IOL)
4-star IOL Grant Wise (No. 221 NATL., No. 16 IOL)
4-star OT Adam Guthrie (No. 261 NATL., No. 20 OT)
3-star OT Braden Wilmes (No. 581 NATL., No. 47 OT)

Touted Clemson OL coach Matt Luke has put together quite the pledge list at his position group this cycle. While not the flashiest cluster of commits, the rankings speak for themselves when looking at the linemen in the mix in Death Valley to date.

It’s primarily an East Coast group, too. Delaney plays for a North Carolina power at Charlotte Providence Day. Scruggs is the No. 4 player in Virginia this cycle. Barclay and Wise both play for notable programs in the Sunshine State and each committed on March 9.

Guthrie also pledged in early March and helped kick off a massive string of commitments for head coach Dabo Swinney, Luke and Co. The Washington Court House (Ohio) Miami Trace product is the No. 12 player in Ohio. Wilmes, the No. 6 recruit in Kansas, rounds things out.

Notre Dame

4-star IOL Tyler Merrill (No. 128 NATL., No. 4 IOL)
4-star IOL Gregory Patrick (No. 148 NATL., No. 9 IOL)
4-star IOL Ben Nichols (No. 214 NATL., No. 15 IOL)
4-star OT Grayson McKeogh (No. 280 NATL., No. 22 OT)
4-star IOL Sullivan Garvin (No. 395 NATL., No. 31 IOL)
3-star OT Charlie Thom (No. 1,189 NATL., No. 97 OT)

Notre Dame put together its impressive OL class quicker than most. Merrill, Nichols and Garvin have each been in the mix since the winter, giving head coach Marcus Freeman and the Irish some crucial building blocks that have helped form what’s currently the No. 4 class in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Merrill, a top-three prospect in Pennsylvania, has continued to see his stock rise ahead of his senior year. The same can be said for a majority of the commits, including Garvin, who’s since acquired his fourth star after committing back in December, as well as McKeogh, who currently ranks as a top-200 prospect in the Rivals300.

Michigan is home to Patrick, Nichols and Garvin, while Pennsylvania has produced Merrill and McKeogh — two essential recruiting hotbeds for Notre Dame football. Other position rooms also look the part in this class, but the beef down low is perhaps the best for Freeman and the vaunted Joe Rudolph.

USC

4-star OT Keenyi Pepe (No. 51 NATL., No. 5 OT)
4-star IOL Esun Tafa (No. 226 NATL., No. 18 IOL)
4-star OT Vlad Dyakonov (No. 276 NATL., No. 21 OT)
3-star IOL Kannon Smith (No. 463 NATL., No. 38 IOL)
3-star IOL John Fifita (No. 789 NATL., No. 75 IOL)
3-star OT Chase Deniz (No. 790 NATL., No. 66 OT)

USC’s top-ranked class in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings is loaded at just about every position. Six O-line pledges provide some oomph in Los Angeles, with Pepe at the top of the list.

The IMG Academy (Fla.) tackle came off the board at the beginning of May in what was a surprise commitment at the time. The 6-foot-7, 325-pounder is a top-10 recruit in Florida this cycle. Back in March, the Trojans landed Tafa, a top-five recruit in Utah.

Dyakanov looks to be a riser ahead of his senior campaign at Folsom (Calif.) High. Deniz and Fifta also committed in March, while Smith joined in April. USC has kept its recruiting foot on the gas, and after signing four O-linemen last cycle, its ready to bring in another flock of trench monsters this time around.
