Two more 5-star decisions highlight commitments coming this week

The Fourth of July weekend brought plenty of fireworks on the recruiting trail.
Texas Tech and Syracuse beat the usual suspects and landed massive five-star commitments. Alabama added two more five-stars and now have five in their 2026 class. Oregon also notched a five-star pledge, its biggest of the year. Myriad four-stars also came off the board last week.
That was just the beginning of what’s expected to be perhaps the most hectic month of the recruiting calendar this time around. Another crop of prospects are now ready to announce their decisions this week.
Another 20 blue-chippers have commitment date sets across the next seven days. Headlining the upcoming decisions is another pair of five-stars: two-way lineman Lamar Brown and tight end Kaiden Prothro.
