Savion Hiter, one of the nation’s premier prospects in the Class of 2026, is headed to Michigan. The five-star running back from Mineral (Va.) Louisa County announced his commitment on Tuesday, choosing the Wolverines over Georgia, Tennessee, and Ohio State. Hiter has been at the top of Michigan’s recruiting board for several years, making this pledge a defining win for the staff. For running backs coach Tony Alford in particular, the commitment carries extra weight, as his relationship with Hiter began during his time at Ohio State and ultimately helped swing the battle in Michigan’s favor. With Hiter now on board, Michigan adds an explosive playmaker who has already proven himself against elite high school competition.
