Wednesday Night Practice Notes
CLEMSON — Wednesday evening Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney visited with the media after today’s practice to discuss preparations for Saturday’s game against No. 9-ranked LSU.
Some of the more notable items:
— He said Walker Parks has practiced “a pretty good bit” this week.

Been out there in pads the last couple of days “getting some reps in and getting a lot of the team work.”
Parks suffered an ankle injury during the first stadium scrimmage in early August.
“Still working his way back to 100 percent, but he’s in a good spot,” Swinney said.
The other two candidates at right guard are Elyjah Thurmon and Harris Sewell.
Swinney said whoever runs out there first at the guard spots, “I could care less.”
— He said Jeadyn Lukus had to work his way back after missing basically all of camp, but he got in some live work over the last couple weeks.
We asked him if Lukus is the third corner behind Avieon Terrell and Ashton Hampton.
“He might be number two. He might be number one. We’ll see. He’s definitely one of them. He’s a good one.”
— We asked if Vic Burley is ready to be in the regular rotation in a game like this.
“Yes he is. He’s earned it. It’s been good to see. He’s the best version of Vic Burley since he came to Clemson. Good spring, great summer, great camp. He has really earned the opportunity to be in that mix. I’m proud of him.”
The top three defensive tackles are Peter Woods, DeMonte Capehart and Stephiylan Green.
