AUSL College Mock Draft
1.01: Emiley Kennedy, LHP, Texas A&M – Volts
The Volts are the only AUSL roster without a left-handed pitcher, thus, Kennedy fills a major hole. As good as Bri Ellis has been this season, it’s hard to pass a tall lefty All-American that throws in the mid-70s.
1.02: Bri Ellis, INF, Arkansas – Talons
The Talons take Ellis, the best player in the draft, in my opinion. The Player of the Year frontrunner and active NCAA home run leaders give the Talons a much-needed power boost in the lineup.
1.03: Sam Landry, RHP, Oklahoma – Blaze
Landry has become a star at Oklahoma under the tutelage of Jen Rocha this season. The righty’s pitch arsenal is too good to pass up in the first round and adds to a bullpen with Carley Hoover, Aleshia Ocasio, Alana Vawter and Keilani Ricketts.
1.04: Devyn Netz, RHP/UTL, Arizona – Bandits
The Bandits have a need at first base and in the circle. Netz covers both of those. The Arizona two-way star can be the team’s starter at first base most days and be an electric closer with her competitive fire in my eyes.
2.01: Cori McMillan, OF, Virginia Tech – Talons
The Talons came into the draft needing more power hitters and they leave with McMillan and Ellis, both players who top this season’s home run list. McMillian also gives the Talons a third true outfielder.
2.02: Ana Gold, INF, Duke- Blaze
The Blaze have a need in their middle infield and Gold is the lone middle infielder in this draft pool. Duke’s all-time home run leader gives the Blaze versatility in the lineup and infield.

2.03: Sierra Sacco, OF, Mississippi State – Bandits
Sacco has been one of the best hitters in the SEC this season. She can still slap but has evolved into a true slugger. She’ll help boost the offensive numbers in the Bandtis’ outfield.
2.04: Korbe Otis, OF, Florida – Volts
The Volts needed another outfielder in case Erika Piancastelli has to catch for them when Dejah Mulipola needs an off day. A multi-time All-American in Korbe Otis. She brings speed while hitting for contact and power.
3.01: Emma Lemley, RHP, Virginia Tech – Blaze
The Blaze doesn’t really have a massive hole on their roster. They go best player available, adding Lemley’s deadly riseball to their already strong bullpen.
3.02: Danieca Coffey, INF, LSU – Bandits
Coffey brings her speed, slapping to the Bandits that need it in their lineup. Plus, Delanie Wisz can play either corner spot, allowing Coffey to be another option at third base.
3.03: Michaela Edenfield, C, Florida State – Volts
The Volts were the team most in need of a catcher, and why Edenfield, the lone backstop in the draft pool, makes a ton of sense for them. The All-American catcher has been one of the best bats in Florida State history.
3.04: Raelin Chaffin, RHP, Mississippi State – Talons
Chaffin has found herself at Mississippi State this season. She’s developed a great changeup with Taryne Mowatt-McKinney, which is a great change of pace for a roster that has flamethrowers in Megan Faraimo, Georgina Corrick, Montana Fouts.
