Clemson has quickly grown in its rise to a premier softball program. Although this year will be different and the Tigers will look different. There is no Valerie Cagle, no McKenzie Clark, no Alia Logoleo and a handful of others that help make Clemson softball what it is. But for John Rittman, that's okay. "Both as individuals and a team, they built this team," he said. "It's been different but it's given others like Maddie Moore, Aby Vieira and Brooke McCubbin chances to be leaders. They've stepped up. It's neat when you lose that core group that has been here for so long, you're curious who will step into those spots. They've all stepped up to keep the organic culture that's been created."
