2025 Softball America Podcast Network Schedule
We are thrilled to announce the 2025 schedule for our groundbreaking podcast network, a platform designed to amplify diverse voices and foster meaningful conversations across all levels of softball. In a world where unity and community are more crucial than ever, we recognize the power of a united team.
Gray Robertson will once again serve as Podcast Director guiding the team on a national level. Robertson is entering his ninth season broadcasting Alabama softball on the Crimson Tide Sports Network as an analyst and his seventh year calling softball on SECNetwork+ as a play-by-play announcer. Alongside his radio partner Tom Canterbury, Robertson has also hosted the Out of the Box podcast since 2019, discussing softball stories with some of the biggest media voices and coaching names in the sport. This season, Out of the Box officially joins the podcast network alongside several returning shows and a few new in-season offerings.
“After the rousing success of last season, I’m thrilled that we can continue the growth of this amazing podcast network on Softball America,” Robertson said. “With personalities who’ve covered and experienced the games at all levels, the perspective listeners will gain through our shows are second to none. Most importantly, this team is filled with people who care about the health of this sport that we adore and want to see grow to new heights. I know everyone participating will provide the in-depth coverage that softball deserves.”
Here are the weekly shows that are coming during the 2025 collegiate season:
Good Morning, Softball America
Premiere Date: Monday, February 3rd; Weekly Airings Every Monday at 12 pm ET
Hosts: Tara Henry and Gray Robertson
Hosted by Tara Henry and Gray Robertson, Good Morning, Softball America will start your week with a deep dive into the biggest storylines from college softball. Available live and on-demand on YouTube as well as all audio platforms, GMSA will provide thoughtful analysis about the past week’s games as well as discussions about some of the best performances around the sport. Tara and Gray will also answer your questions about the newest SA Top 25 and look forward to the week ahead. Grab your cup of coffee and wake up with Tara and Gray each and every week on Good Morning, Softball America!
Out of the Box
Premiere Date: Wednesday, February 5th; Weekly Audio Airings Every Tuesday or Wednesday Morning, Schedule-dependent
Hosts: Tom Canterbury and Gray Robertson
Alabama softball radio broadcasters Tom Canterbury and Gray Robertson are bringing their signature witty banter to the Softball America Podcast Network with Season Seven of Out of the Box! Available on all podcast platforms, this audio-only show will take you on a trip around the bases that includes a look at the Crimson Tide’s past week, all the news and updates from the SEC, an interview or two with members of the college softball media, Bracketology, informative debates, national stories, and much more, plus returning fan-favorite segments like “Off the Wall” and “Tom’s Hungry.” Special events like “On the Road” episodes and “The 2nd Annual Pick Swap” will appear on the feed this season as well. Don’t miss all the fun as Tom and Gray journey through the season discussing the sport that they love!

Diamond in the South

Whether you’re a die-hard softball fan or new to the game, this podcast brings the excitement, culture, and heart of the SEC straight to your ears.
Each show will air weekly throughout the 2025 season, with more podcast events planned for the future. With interest growing at a rapid rate around the country, Softball America is thrilled to provide multiple platforms to discuss softball at a deeper level.
