2026 Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational teams announced

The 16-team field for the 2026 Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational was announced ahead of the final game on Sunday night.
Duke, FAU, Florida State, Georgia, James Madison, LSU, Missouri, NC State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCF, and UCLA will play in softball’s marque showcase next February 12-15.

The SEC has five teams in the field with Missouri and Texas A&M returning from the 2025 group. The ACC, Big Ten and Big 12 are also well-represented with arguably the biggest softball programs coming from each of those conferences. JMU and FAU are the Mid-Major teams that will try to come away with big weekends.
Barring the transfer portal mixing it up on us, the senior pitching class at the tournament should make for incredible matchups as Jordy Bahl, NiJaree Canady, Karlyn Pickens, Sydney Berzon, Cassidy Curd, Taylor Tinsley and Ruby Meylan will all be in Clearwater.
