Arkansas blanks Oklahoma State, returns to Supers for first time since 2022

Arkansas exploded for 12 runs on Sunday, cruising to a 12-0 run-rule victory to secure its first Super Regional berth since 2022 and set a program record for runs scored in an NCAA Tournament game.
The Razorbacks wasted no time, plating three runs in the first inning. Courtney Day opened the scoring with an RBI single to left, followed by Ella McDowell’s RBI single to double the lead. Kennedy Miller then drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 3-0 after the first inning.
Arkansas continued its offensive surge in the third. McDowell led off with a double and came around to score on an RBI single by Atalyia Rijo. Oklahoma State’s Ruby Meylan was chased from the game soon after, and the Razorbacks capitalized with back-to-back RBI doubles from Karlie Davison and Raigan Kramer to stretch the lead to 6-0.
In the fifth, Oklahoma State loaded the bases, but Davison made a diving grab at third to extinguish the threat and keep the shutout intact.

Two Cowgirl errors in the sixth inning derailed any hopes of a comeback. McDowell delivered her second RBI of the game with an infield single, and Arkansas kept rolling. With the bases loaded, Miller ripped a two-run double to right to make it 9-0. Davison then followed with a three-run homer on a full count, extending the lead to 12-0.
In the bottom of the sixth, Reagan Johnson made a diving catch in center and doubled off the runner at first to seal the run-rule win. Junior Robyn Herron went the distance for Arkansas, tossing six shutout innings to clinch the victory.
