Arkansas needed to find a big bat after the graduations of Bri Ellis and Courtney Day. Courtney Deifel worked her transfer portal magic with a hitter from her alma mater and landed a commitment from Cal slugger Tianna Bell.

Bell, who has one year of eligibility left, primarily played first base for the Golden Bears. She heads to Fayetteville after a career year in 2025. Bell had career highs in batting average (.347), doubles (10), home runs (15) and RBI (54). She ranked inside the top 15 of all ACC hitters in both home runs and RBI. Arkansas will need that production as Ellis and Day accounted for 57% of the team’s home runs last season.

Bell made the All-ACC Second Team this past season and an All-Pac-12 nod in 2024.
