Big East Player of the Year Grace Jenkins enters transfer portal
UConn backstop and reigning Big East Player of the Year Grace Jenkins has entered the transfer portal – along with her sister, Hope, a UConn pitcher.
Jenkins, originally from Folsom, Calif., has always hit for good average, batting over .345 each of her first two seasons with the Huskies. She really turned it up a notch as a junior. Jenkins had a career-high in batting average (.432), doubles (16), home runs (16), RBI (55) and walks (35). She is also a superb defender behind the plate from the left side.
