Mississippi State is reloading its bullpen. Chattanooga transfer Peja Goold announced her commitment to the Bulldogs on Monday. Goold, a rising senior, is a two-time SoCon Pitcher of the Year. In 2025, Goold had a 25-7 record with two saves, a 1.69 ERA and .173 batting average against.

This is Mississippi State’s second transfer pitcher addition. The Bulldogs added Troy pitcher Alyssa Faircloth earlier this off-season. With the graduation of Raelin Chaffin and the transfer of Josey Marron, who committed to South Carolina, Mississippi State has to replace 242 innings from last season.
