Georgia eliminated Coastal Carolina in the Durham Regional this past weekend as the Bulldogs advanced to their third straight Super Regional. Now, a former Chant will be joining them for the 2026 season. Graduate transfer Keirstin Roose announced she’ll be a Bulldog next season.

Roose is coming off a career year. She hit .371 with 19 doubles, a pair of triples, 15 home runs and 54 RBIs. Those power numbers exceeded what she had done in the previous three seasons combined. Roose primarily played second base this season, but could be a fit at first base for Georgia, which struggled to find a consistent option there in 2025.
