Texas A&M announced the addition of former Florida infielder Ariel Kowalewski on Tuesday afternoon. Kowalewski entered the transfer portal earlier in December after a solid freshman year with the Gators. She held a .308 batting average, .933 OPS, seven doubles, eight home runs and 33 RBIs.

Kowaleski, a Texas native, primarily played third base last season but has infield versatility. She will have to sit out the 2025 season due to being a mid-year transfer. However, she’ll have three years of eligibility remaining as Trisha Ford brings another Texas kid home.
