Kaiah Altmeyer set to join Texas for final season

One of the best bats in the transfer portal has found a new home. Former Arizona outfielder Kaiah Altmeyer announced her decision to commit to Texas.
The Longhorns, fresh off their first Women’s College World Series Championship, return most of their lineup, including Kayden Henry and Ashton Maloney, meaning Texas very well could have the best outfield in the country.
Altmeyer spent three seasons in Tucson but is coming off a career year. In her first season as a full-time starter, Altmeyer led the Wildcats with 19 doubles, translating to 55 RBIs. She also hit .365 with five home runs. Altemeyer was also an adequate defender in right field.
