LSU third baseman Danieca Coffey lands AUSL Golden Ticket

Danieca Coffey is golden. The LSU redshirt senior became the eighth college senior to receive a Golden Ticket from the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) on Sunday. Coffey is one of 12 players who will be drafted by the four teams for the inaugural season of the AUSL.
Coffey has put up great numbers after returning from a season-ending knee injury last season. She entered Sunday with a .411 batting average, nine doubles, a triple and two home runs with 35 RBIs. Coffey has shown a lot of growth during her career, especially as a defender
