Top 2026 recruit Malaya Majam-Finch makes pledge to Oklahoma
Patty Gasso sent out her ‘Go Boomer’ catchphrase and we waited to find out who was coming to Norman. Malaya Majam-Finch, the 25th overall and 10th-ranked pitcher in the 2026 class, announced her commitment to Oklahoma Monday night.
Oklahoma continues to have its footprint in California with the addition of Majam-Finch. The Sooners have a strong pipeline with the OC Batbusters organization but Majam-Finch is a product of Marty Tyson’s Tyson Angels in California.
And yes, when you see a softball pitcher with the last name as Finch it’s worth begging the question. Majam-Finch is the niece of the legendary Jennie Finch.
