Melissa won two more games to remain undefeated and atop the NFCA Spring High School Top 25 Coaches Poll for a fourth straight week.
The (23-0) Cardinals soared past Greenville 18-0 last Friday and cruised by Sherman 15-0 Tuesday.
Melissa has outscored its opponents by a 296-21 margin this season, and have yielded just four runs over its last 12 contests. The Cardinals have Anna up next on Friday. Melissa has multiple four-star recruits, including 2025 Texas signee Caigan Crabtree and 2026 Florida commit Kennedy (KB) Bradley.
Little changed in the rankings after that, with the entire top 10 staying put. Those 10 teams combined to go a perfect 26-0 for the week.
California’s unbeaten Oak Ridge (13-0) joined the poll in the No. 11 position, while Missouri power Diamond (10-0) surged two places to 16th after another solid week.
