Ohio State All-American catcher Jasmyn Burns enters transfer portal

One of the biggest names of the 2025 season has entered the transfer portal. Second Team All-American catcher Jasmyn Burns from Ohio State put her name in the portal on Thursday.
After earning a Big Ten All-Freshman Team nod in 2024, Burns had a breakout year under the new Ohio State head coach Kirin Kumar. Burns hit 25 home runs, setting the single-season Ohio State and Big Ten record, along with a .455 batting average, 1.546 OPS and 72 RBIs.
Burns is the best bat to enter the portal thus far.
