OKC Spark win inaugural Champion Cup

It was a dominant end to the first season of the Association of Fastpitch Professionals season for the Oklahoma City Spark. The Spark beat the Florida Vibe 11-4 to earn the Champion Cup in Chattanooga.
The home run queen Jocelyn Alo crushed two blasts in the win, driving in four runs. Haley Lee and Sydney Sherrill also homered to close out the title.
Maddie Penta, Amber Fiser and Donnie Gobourne split the duties in the circle. Fiser and Gobourne tossed the final three innings, allowing one run and five hits.
The Spark outscored their opponents 29-10 in three games at the Champion Cup, beating the rest of the league including the New York Rise (5-2) and Chattanooga Steam (13-4).

Alo went 3-for-8 with three home runs during the tournament. Jayda Coleman went 5-for-9 with a pair of home runs, a double and five RBIs. Lee led the squad driving in nine runs with two home runs and four hits.
Keilani Ricketts tossed a complete game against the Rise, allowing two runs and striking out four. Fiser tossed four innings combined against the Steam and Vibe, allowing one run.
