For the first time in the history of the Softball America Top 25 rankings, Texas A&M is the No. 1 team. The Aggies are on a 12-game after sweeping LSU in College Station. Texas drops after losing its first series of the season to Tennessee. Oklahoma State and FAU fall out of the Top 25 while Virginia re-joins and Grand Canyon makes its first-ever appearance in the Softball America Top 25
