The latest Softball America poll likely has controversy at the top. Who is your No. 1 team?

Oregon makes the biggest jump after a great weekend at the Mary Nutter. Who else moved up? Check it out below.

1. Texas (15-1) (Last Week’s Ranking: 1)

The Longhorns dropped their first game of the season to Stanford in Tucson but responded with a true road win over Arizona. Texas also has two wins against Texas Tech; one against Canady and a run-rule in the other.

Choosing between Texas, Oklahoma and Florida wasn’t easy. However, the Longhorns’ wins are better than the other two. And remember Sooner fans, we didn’t drop Oklahoma last season after one loss to Louisiana.

2. Oklahoma (12-0) (2)

The Sooners only played two games this week as weather affected Oklahoma-based schools. Nevertheless, they combined to beat Tulsa and Wichita State 16-1.

3. Florida (18-1) (3)

The Gators handled their business on their trip to the desert. They had a scare against Grand Canyon but ultimately held on. Katelynn Oxley‘s debut should help in the long run for Florida.

4. UCLA (14-2) (4)

UCLA ended its Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic gauntlet 5-1 with its lone blemish being a 1-0 loss to Cassidy Curd and Duke. Although, a win over Tennessee in a Karlyn Pickens’ start plus run-rule victories over Nebraska and Arkansas are mighty good on the resume.

5. Texas A&M (15-1) (8)

The Aggies left Tallahassee with arguably the two most impressive wins this season. Texas A&M beating Florida State twice without Koko Wooley and a so-so performance Emiley Kennedy is remarkable. The Aggies could have the top spot if Texas A&M didn’t squander its late lead to Oklahoma State in Clearwater,

6. LSU (14-0) (6)

LSU is hitting the ball extremely well and pitching at a high level. The Tigers are just missing top-level wins outside of beating Emma Lemley and Virginia Tech. That could all change with a matchup against UCLA in California this upcoming week.

7. Arizona (15-2) (9)

The Wildcats were oh so close to hanging Texas a second loss this weekend, falling in extras. Nevertheless, limiting Stanford’s standout offense to three runs over two games – all on solo home runs – looks really good after the Cardinal’s win over Texas.

8. Duke (13-3) (15)

Duke is rolling right now behind Cassidy Curd. Mix in the road win over Florida last week, Curd has beat three preseason Al-Americas including Jordy Bahl and Nebraska and Taylor Tinsley and UCLA after this last weekend.

9. Florida State (11-3) (5)

The Noles were on the wrong side of the doubleheader sweep against Texas A&M and needed an extra-inning comeback to beat Southeastern Louisiana. The bats were cold for stretches, which will happen. Annabelle Widra has still looked her best in a Florida State uniform.

10. Arkansas (14-1) (10)

The Hogs didn’t look great in their outing against UCLA, but we also didn’t see Robyn Herron pitch. This is understandable because they have to challenge their freshmen pitchers in a big game before SEC play. Arkansas dominated the rest of the weekend, including run-rule wins over Cal State Fullerton and Baylor.

11. Tennessee (13-3) (7)
12. Georgia (14-0) (11)
13. Oregon (15-1) (21)
14. Texas Tech (14-3) (13)
15. Oklahoma State (7-4) (12)
16. Nebraska (12-4) (14)
17. South Carolina (15-0) (22)
18. San Diego State (12-3) (18)
19. Auburn (14-1) (17)
20. Mississippi State (13-2) (16)
21. Liberty (12-3) (20)
22. Alabama (10-6) (23)
23. Virginia Tech (12-3) (19)
24. Stanford (12-2) (NR)
25. FAU (15-2) (25)
