Texas Tech boosts lineup with All-American Mia Williams

Former Florida All-American infielder Mia Williams has committed to Texas Tech. Williams joins fellow All-American Jazzy Burns in heading to Lubbock. Williams likely fills Texas Tech’s void at second base following the graduation of Alexa Langeliers.
The infielder had a breakout season in 2025 after a slow start as a freshman. The NFCA Second Team All-American held a .335 batting average with 10 doubles, 19 home runs and 44 RBIs. That was a major improvement from her freshman numbers of .164 with six homers and 18 RBI.
