What is your favorite travel ball memory?

It was an incredible experience when my team reached the final day of the Colorado Sparkler National power pool. Throughout the tournament, we faced numerous challenges and setbacks, but we managed to come together as a team and overcome them. One of the biggest obstacles was my own injury, but I was determined to make a comeback and contribute to our success. We managed to defeat a highly ranked team from California.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from a coach?

A coach I had in the past emphasized the importance of maintaining control while in the circle. I have learned to positively influence those around me by being mindful of my body language and attitude during games. It is a responsibility I take to heart, as I strive to uplift my teammates during challenging moments and contribute to our success.

How did you get interested in softball?

When I was little my parents put me in every possible sport. Among all the sports, softball quickly became my favorite, and from the very first day I set foot on the field, I was determined to improve my skills and excel in the game.

What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most?

I am a team player. I am always willing to do what is necessary for the betterment of the team. While softball is a team sport, I also like working on my own to get better at my craft. One thing I am trying to improve on is my softball IQ, specifically when it comes to pitch-calling.

What player(s) do you look up to the most?

A person I look up to is Cat Osterman. She was such a dominant pitcher that lead in the circle.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?

Hanging out with friends and listening to music.

What excites you the most about playing college softball?

Competition. I look forward to playing against the best, seeing where I stack up and where I need to improve.
