As Softball America grows its coverage at all levels, we continue our recruiting spotlight series with Lillian Talbot, a right-handed pitcher from Missouri. The two-way player frequently lifts her team by dominating in the circle while also coming in clutch at the plate.

What is your favorite travel ball memory?

Qualifying for Alliance Nationals.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from a coach?

Being confident and having an approach at the plate.

How did you get interested in softball? 

I started playing at a young age and continued to enjoy it more each year.

What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most? 

My strengths are being a great teammate and my drive and motivation to always push myself to keep improving. I’m trying to improve on my confidence and have a better mindset while batting.

What player(s) do you look up to the most? 

Jordy Bahl and NiJaree Canady.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball? 

I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends and family, as well as walking my dogs.

What excites you the most about playing college softball?

Getting to take my softball career further.
