The 2022 NFL Draft has now come to an end. After three days of seeing 262 former college players get selected by 32 franchises, it’s now time to either: 1) get on a plane with the destination set for whichever city picked you or 2) find a new place to call home if you’re an undrafted free agent.

We’ll see various former Alabama standouts doing a little bit of both.

In total, the Crimson Tide saw seven of its players selected in this year’s draft. That means six others weren’t as fortunate. But that doesn’t mean playing careers are over for those unselected guys. In fact, we’re already hearing reports of Alabama players signing undrafted free agent contracts.

Below, we’re including every former Tide star who did — and didn’t — get taken. Plus, we’ll be updating where those undrafted guys are signing as the news comes to us.

Alabama players who got drafted

OT Evan Neal: First-round, No. 7 overall (New York Giants)

WR Jameson Williams: First-round, No. 12 overall (Detroit Lions)

WR John Metchie: Second-round, No. 44 overall (Houston Texans)

DT Phil Mathis: Second-round, No. 47 (Washington Commanders)

LB Christian Harris: Third-round, No. 75 (Houston Texans)

RB Brian Robinson: Third-round, No. 98 (Washington Commanders)

CB Jalyn Armour-Davis: Fourth-round, No. 119 (Baltimore Ravens)

Alabama players who didn’t get drafted

CB Josh Jobe: Undrafted free agent (Philadelphia Eagles)

LB Christopher Allen: Undrafted free agent (Denver Broncos)

DL LaBryan Ray: Undrafted free agent (New England Patriots)

OL Chris Owens: Undrafted free agent (Pittsburgh Steelers)

WR Slade Bolden: Undrafted free agent (Baltimore Ravens)

DB Daniel Wright: Undrafted free agent

Considering this was considered a “down year” for Alabama draft picks, this is still a heck of a haul for Nick Saban and company. Over the last three drafts, Alabama has seen 23 of its players selected on either Day 1 or 2. Only three other schools — Georgia (18), Ohio State (17) and LSU (16) — have broken double digits.

Stay tuned for more updates.
