2024 NFL Combine Primer: How to keep up with Alabama players

The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine is already underway, and Alabama once again has double-digit players in attendance for the annual event. The on-field workout portion of the Combine is set to get start with the first group on Thursday, Feb. 29 and will run through Sunday, March 3.

Of course, Alabama players will also have Pro Day to impress NFL scouts and decision-makers, but this week will go a long way in determining where guys are selected come draft day. Below, we’re included a primer for the now former UA players that were invited, the schedule of events and how to watch the NFL Scouting Combine.

Of the 10 players above, three are on offense, six are on defense and then there’s one specialist (Reichard). Overall, there were 321 players invited with Michigan leading the way with 18. Florida State saw 11 former players get invites, Georgia got 11 and Penn State matched Alabama with 10. LSU and Notre Dame got eight invites apiece.

As of right now, the Crimson Tide are expected to have at least four players taken on Day 1 of April’s draft. Those players include Turner, Latham, Arnold and McKinstry. It’s also possible that Braswell could find his way into the Round 1 conversation, but at the very least, he should hear his name called sometime on Day 2. Burton, Eboigbe and McClellan could really help themselves in Indianapolis, whether that be with an on-field workout or, in Eboigbe’s case, good medical feedback.
