Alabama’s football program has loaded up on linebacker commitments over the past few weeks.

On Sunday, the Crimson Tide added another prospect at the position to their 2025 class. Moments ago, Rome (Ga.) High School product Jaedon Harmon announced his commitment to Bama. Harmon, who was offered by the staff last month, joined forces with the Tide during his A-Day visit to Tuscaloosa.

With Harmon in the fold, Alabama is now up to five linebacker pledges in this recruiting cycle. Kalen DeBoer‘s program added a trio of linebackers in a one-week span last month, including a commitment from top-35 overall prospect Darrell “Duke” Johnson.

Harmon’s addition is the second for Bama this weekend alone, joining Northeast wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks.

Looking at Alabama’s pursuit, Harmon said a few weeks ago that he was “thrilled” with his March 21 offer because Bama is “a legendary program.” That offer came after the top-25 linebacker in the nation attended one of the Tide’s spring practices.

“It went great,” Jaedon Harmon previously said of his visit. “I liked all the facilities and stuff, but I really liked the whole coaching staff showing love. I just enjoyed talking with them and Coach Wommack. Seeing his plan for me and how I’d fit his defense schematically. Just seeing all the stuff I could do, that was good.”

Harmon was given the red-carpet treatment during last month’s visit. He spent time around DeBoer, as well as Christian Robinson, JaMarcus Shephard, and position coach/defensive coordinator Kane Wommack.

In his previous conversation with BOL, Harmon detailed his high interest in the Tide.

“It’s just Bama,” Harmon previously said. “They have a certain standard that has to be met. I want to go to a place where I’m pushed to be the best version of myself that I can be. I feel like Bama will be a great place to accomplish that.”

Per the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings, Harmon is the No. 204 overall prospect in this recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder also checks in as the No. 23 linebacker in his class, and the No. 29 rising senior in the state of Georgia.
