2025 NFL Draft: Seattle Seahawks select Alabama TE Robbie Ouzts

Alabama senior tight end Robbie Ouzts was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the No. 175 overall pick (Round 5) in the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon. Ouzts was the sixth Crimson Tide player selected off the board and will join Jalen Milroe in Seattle.
Ouzts primarily served as a blocking tight end during his Alabama career and earned playing time very early with his blocking prowess. He played for the Crimson Tide for four years, appearing in every game and starting six games as a senior in 2024. He became more of a factor in the passing game later in his career, amassing career highs of eight catches, 108 yards and two touchdowns in his senior year.

Even as early as his freshman season, Ouzts found his way on the field, appearing in all 11 games his first season before suffering an injury. He played in all 13 games with three starts as a sophomore, followed by appearances in all 14 games with seven starts as a junior. In total, Ouzts played in 51 games throughout his Alabama career, making 16 starts.
Coming out of Rock Hill High School in South Carolina, Ouzts was a top-20 tight end in the 2021 class, rated as a 3-star according to the On3 Industry Ratings. He ranked as the No. 438 overall player in the class, the No. 4 player from South Carolina.
