Mark your calendars, Alabama fans.

The Crimson Tide announced the date for its 2025 A-Day Game. Alabama will end its 15-practice spring slate with a scrimmage at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, April 12.

A start time will be announced at a later date.

A lot of eyes will be on Tuscaloosa, Alabama as Year 2 of the Kalen DeBoer era begins, and the Crimson Tide football team will look a little different than what we saw on New Year’s Eve.

A total of 34 players from the 2024 roster, either via the NFL draft or the NCAA transfer portal, have left the UA football program. Alabama also signed 21 new players from the high school and junior college ranks as part of its No. 2 recruiting class. In addition to that, seven transfers have been added to the Tide’s roster to push for immediate playing time.

Alabama will be looking for a new starting quarterback, as well, with Jalen Milroe declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the Crimson Tide only lost three underclassmen to the draft, as 11 draft-eligible players chose to pass on turning pro and return for one more year.

There is plenty of talent, both experienced and unproven, for DeBoer and his coaching staff to work with this offseason. Alabama fans will get their first look at the new team on April 12.
